Ascend Financials
Easily displays unpaid invoices and transaction history for that client. Payment processing is done quickly with the ability to send a digital receipt to the client on email or via print. Allows users to link payments to invoices, take deposits for surgeries or treatments, easily apply credit or debit notes and record refunds.
labs
Teams can collaborate and view what’s happening with lab results for a particular patient. With the information recorded digitally in Ascend, team members won’t get confused and have to ask other team members whether results have been received, or a client has been followed up. This improves patient care and client communications around status of lab results. Within the labs feature, users can filter by date, clinic site, vet, status, machine type and more. Results are automatically populated via our integration partners.
Ascend Consults
The consult view houses all the key information and standardised vitals that a vet records during a consult in one place, thereby saving time. This will automatically link to the patient’s file for record keeping. From this view, the vet can add To Do tasks, documents, images or future appointments. They can see if the patient has a care plan or insurance policy. They can improve client communications with the ability to call, text or email from the consult view. A vet can access dental charts for digital annotation and record keeping. There is a charges area for consult fixed charges with nominated values for procedures or bundles for specific services to avoid missed charges, recapture revenue and improve patient care.

Instead of manually writing down on a whiteboard, paper or excel sheet where patients are in the journey, Ascend’s inpatients workflow feature allows paperless viewing of the patient journey via any modern device. This feature is particularly useful for larger clinics needing visibility on hospital and surgery statuses of patients. The feature can be viewed on large TVs. Track the full journey from check-in to discharge and improve team visibility and client communications.

MyHub shows upcoming appointments, checked in patients, in consult patients, ready to pay, complete and admitted.
